Past dates, transparent arithmetic.
Dates are validated as real calendar dates and sorted from earliest to latest. For each adjacent pair, the interval is the number of calendar days between those dates, using UTC date arithmetic to avoid daylight-saving differences. The arithmetic mean is the sum of those intervals divided by the number of intervals, rounded to one decimal. The range is the smallest through largest interval. Duplicate, impossible, and future dates are rejected. These are descriptions of entered dates—not predictions of the next period, ovulation, fertility, or pregnancy.
Blank optional fields are omitted. Text is displayed literally, not interpreted as HTML. Calculations run in your browser.
A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS
Before you go
Does this predict my next period or fertile window?
No. It only summarizes gaps between past dates you supply. An average interval is not a prediction, especially when intervals vary. It is not for contraception, fertility decisions, or pregnancy assessment.
What if my dates are incomplete or irregular?
You may enter the dates you know, but missing dates can make a gap span more than one cycle. The tool cannot detect or correct that. It does not label cycles as normal or abnormal; add context for your own records.
How many dates do I need?
At least two distinct, real calendar dates are needed for one interval. Add up to 120 dates, one per line. Duplicate, future, or impossible dates must be corrected before a result is produced.
Does the site store my health details?
This plugin does not send planner inputs to a server, use browser storage, or create an account. Entries stay in the current page’s memory and clear when you refresh, leave, or reset. Downloads and printouts are your responsibility; other plugins, hosting services, and browser extensions have their own practices.
