ACCESSIBILITY

A useful plan should be easier to reach.

The site is designed with readable type, keyboard controls, labelled inputs, responsive layouts, and plain-text results. Accessibility is an ongoing responsibility, not a claim that every setup is barrier-free.

Ways to navigate and use the tools

Use the Skip to content link at the start of the page to move past repeated navigation. Links, buttons, form controls, FAQ summaries, and the mobile menu can be reached with a keyboard. Tab moves forward, Shift+Tab moves backward, and Enter or Space activates supported controls. Focus is visibly marked.

On small screens, the Menu button reveals navigation and reports whether it is expanded. FAQ items use native disclosure controls. Inputs have visible labels, required indicators, and appropriate types. Validation messages explain a problem rather than relying on color alone; result creation is announced through a status region.

Reading, zoom, and results

The layout reflows from multiple columns to one column on narrow screens. Text is intended to remain readable when enlarged. There is no autoplay, essential animation, time-limited interaction, or color-only progress meaning. The progress percentage is written as text as well as shown visually.

Print / save PDF opens the browser’s print interface with the result and safety notes. Download .txt provides a plain-text alternative. Downloaded text does not depend on page styling. Optional blank fields are left out to reduce clutter in the result.

Known constraints

JavaScript is required to calculate results in your browser. Without it, the forms remain disabled and an explanatory note appears. Native date, time, and print controls vary by browser and assistive technology. If a picker is difficult to use, try the browser’s supported keyboard entry method.

This page does not assert formal WCAG certification or complete compatibility with every device, extension, theme, or added plugin. Other site software can change spacing, focus, navigation, or contrast. The site owner should test the installed site, including any custom content, with the audiences who use it.

Report a barrier

Use the Contact page if an interaction is difficult or blocked. Describe the page, the task you were trying to complete, the barrier, and any browser or assistive technology details that would help reproduce it. Please avoid sending health information.

Say whether a plain-text alternative, a different control, or a clearer explanation would help. There is no guaranteed response time, but a precise report gives the site owner a practical starting point. You may also consult the FAQs for printing and download instructions.
